Viewing Reports

Use the Toolbar or the Reports menu to bring up a list of available reports. It is only enabled once you have opened a content database. Phrase and Glossary reports will only be available if you have opened their corresponding databases.

 

Select from the available reports in the combo box to the upper right of the screen. Then click the Load Report button to display the report. Within the report, you can change pages, refresh, print, define the layout and zoom, export to Excel, Word, or Acrobat, and search for text. To change reports, select a different one from the list and again click the Load Report button. Reports are stored in the \reports directory underneath the Training Studio Content Editor application. Minor changes in the .rdlc files may be made with a text editor. New reports or substantial changes require Visual Studio .NET.
